Thanksgiving

We had a lot to be thankful for this year, so we took lots of pictures. I tried not to add any spoiler pictures that are going to be used for Christmas cards.

Cadham loved having people race him on the porch, which Papa loved getting back to his racecar roots.

"Pap-Bob" and "Steene" as Cadham apparently named them.

Cousin Lochran, very excited about a rousing game of baseball in the yard. What an athlete!

Cadham wasn't quite awake enough to appreciate the activity.
One quick snap of Thanksgiving dinner with the Bradleys.

Burning off some energy with Daddy before Humber Thanksgiving.

Playing football with Uncle David. He would take the ball when David would hike it and then pass it to him. Or he would hold onto it and just fall down, apparently he thinks quarterbacks just fall down on their own.

Papa's Birthday

We had so much fun celebrating Papa's birthday, on his actual birthday, which is a rarity these days for any birthday. Papa made paper airplanes that Cadham loved to try to throw and watch other people throw.

He and Papa had a great game of tug of war with the gift wrapping too.

Also his one of his latest "tricks" is pretending to go to sleep, which he does with Daddy. It's really cute.

Spoiler Alert!

I couldn't wait to share these pictures of Cadham in Patrick's velvet outfit. It fits just right, except the sleeves are a tad short. But I think he looks precious. Ol' "Pap Bob" has some great hand-me-downs. That's the really fun part about having so many uncles. Fun for me anyway. Daddy decided Cadham looked like Little Lord Fauntleroy. But hey, Bobby Jones wore knickers, right?

Drums

We love "the drums" at our house. The drums tend to change, though. Some days they're buckets like on the day I took these. Some days, they're upside down pots. Never a dull moment. These were funny because he was hitting them so hard that they would slide across the floor so he was trying to whack them while also chasing them acround.

Then we moved on to raiding Daddy's money clip. For the life of me I don't know where he learned that! :-)

And for those of you who may be worried about what has become of Max since so much seems to be revolving around Cadham.... He's making himself pretty comfortable. Not a bit shy about taking over Cadham's blankets. Cadham loves to lay his favorite blankets out on the floor and pretend he is going to sleep. It never fails that as soon as we turn around, Max has snuck in there.

Hijinks, etc

So Cadham's class at school has been talking about "The Farm" this week. So we are back in love with our tractor toy. It's meant to carry little plastic toy animals but Cadham was feeling left out, so....
As if he already didn't look like King Kong....

I took these with my phone so they're a little blurry. Sorry!

Cadham's other favorite thing right now is my hair dryer. I finally gave in and let him hold it this morning and turned the air on "low" and "cold". He had a ball. And I do realize that he is wearing Christmas pajamas. He needed new ones already and these were one of the only pairs in stock in his size. I think they're super cute and I'm always looking to start celebrating the holidays early.

Baby, it's cold outside!

Since the rain was gone we were able to go out and play after school yesterday. But the temperature is definitely dropping. I was worried that Cadham wouldn't like wearing a jacket but he was fine as long as he didn't have to wear the hood. We missed the really good light but still managed to snap a few quick photos. I'm trying to post more here lately because I know Deedee is missing Cadham even though she's having fun seeing the family!

He declared he was ready to go to the park. Our front yard quickly became "small time".

This child loves golf. Daddy is delighted, even if he is golfing "lefty" right now.

Miss you, Deedee! Can't wait to see you!

Halloween 2010

These are our pictures from Halloween in our neighborhood. We all had a lot of fun. Cadham was spinning like a top by the end of the night but crashed soon after we put him to bed.  And that was with only 1 marshmallow treat!

I had to bribe Cadham with a juice box to get him to go back inside and change into his costume. Not great planning because there was no way he was putting it down for pictures.

"Driving" the Corder's golf cart with our neighbor, Anna Ryn.
Playing golf with "Elmo" (aka Cooper)
 Peek a BOO!
 Checkin out Uncle Thomas
About to go on the hayride with Daddy. He threw a huge fit when it was over!
Rounding out the evening with an allergy friendly marshmallow treat.
Cadham wanted to make sure he gave Max "night night kisses" before bed.
